~ Apprentice~

​

This position is the first level of the company and is for the serious dancer who wishes to improve their ballet and contemporary technique and pursue a career in dance. 

​

~Corps de ballet~

​

Similar to the Apprentice position, the Corps de Ballet is the second level of the company and is for those who wish to pursue a career in dance and for those that the Directors deem as ready to step into this level. Dancers placed in this position will have more highlighted roles as well as more responsibility in the company. 

​

~Soloist~

​

this is the third and highest level of the company. Dancer’s will not receive this placement upon audition. Dancers must begin as either an Apprentice or Corps de Ballet member before being considered for a soloist position.

REQUIREMENTS

RENOVATE BALLET COMPANY IS AN EXCLUSIVE GROUP OF DANCERS HAND PICKED BY AUDITION OR INVITATION ONLY BY THE ARTISTIC DIRECTORS. DANCERS SELECTED TO JOIN THE COMPANY WILL BE PLACED AS EITHER AN APPRENTICE OR CORPS DE BALLET DANCER BASED ON TECHNIQUE LEVEL, PROFESSIONAL POTENTIAL, MENTAL AND PHYSICAL DISCIPLINE, COMMITMENT TO THEIR TRAINING, HAVING THE WILLINGNESS TO UPHOLD A STANDARD OF EXCELLENCE, AND ANY OTHER REASON THE DIRECTORS MAY DEEM NECESSARY.

  • ALL COMPANY ARTISTS MUST BE WILLING AND ABLE TO DANCE UP TO 6 HOURS A DAY, 5 DAYS A WEEK

  • AGE REQUIREMENT: 17 YEARS AND OLDER, or a high school graduate

  • MUST BE WILLING TO LEARN AND EXECUTE A LARGE AMOUNT OF CHOREOGRAPHY

AUDITION

PROCESS

  • ONCE YOUR APPLICATION FORM AND APPLICATION FEE IS SUBMITTED, YOU WILL RECEIVE A CONFIRMATION EMAIL WITH FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS REGARDING YOUR VIDEO SUBMISSION AND PACKET INFORMATION.

  • ONCE WE RECEIVE YOUR COMPLETED AUDITION PACKET, YOU WILL BE NOTIFIED WHETHER OR NOT YOU WILL BE INVITED TO AN IN-PERSON AUDITON IN AUGUSTA, GA.
